How do I make an appointment?
Whether you are suffering from digestive symptoms, hormone imbalances, chronic diseases, or just want an explanation of why you’re having symptoms, simply click below to answer a few questions & start your journey to health.
What happens during my first visit?
Your first consultation will be an hour-long session where we will get the chance to learn about you, understand your health goals, and determine what steps you should take for your health. Based on your symptoms and health history, we will then recommend specific types of testing to get to the root of your health problems. Testing is only recommended in instances where we believe it will be helpful to get to the root of the issue.
What should I bring?
Please fill out the consultation form in advance of your appointment. If you have any recent medical test results, please bring those to your appointment as well.
Will insurance pay for my treatment?
While we do accept health insurance, we have found insurance coverage to be more and more restrictive when it comes to basic nutrition counseling such as weight loss or sugar control. Insurance does provide coverage for things like pills and procedures, but those are things we hope to help you discontinue and avoid. The majority of our functional medicine services include in-depth testing that reveals the root cause of symptoms and are not covered by insurance. If you have health insurance, we encourage you to contact your provider to see what coverage you have.
